Durban Lesbian & Gay Community and Health Centre

The Durban Lesbian & Gay Community & Health Centre (a project of the KZN Coalition for Gay & Lesbian Equality) offers a safe and secure space for the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender communitites of Durban and KwaZulu-Natal. In the Pink is the only programme in Africa dedicated soley to the GLBT (Gay Lesbian Bisexual and Transexual) community in Cape Town. The show covers all issues affecting the GLBT community with main focus on health and events. Every Thursday from 20:00 to 21:00. This show features great non-genre specific music but sticking with Bush’s policy of 60% local, playing anything from jazz right through to the most upbeat Hip Hop. Interviews and discussions with experts in various fields i.e. psychologist on how to deal with the afflictions of coming out, as well as news and entertainment.
