Joint Working Group - Ongoing PDF Print E-mail
ImageThe Joint Working Group (JWG) is a collective network between LGBTI organisations in South Africa, working towards coordinating national approach to LGBTI issues in South Africa. It's in existance since 2003 and Gender DynamiX joined October 2005. Since March 2006 the CEO of Gender DynamiX, Liesl Theron was elected to be for a two year term on the management committee.

Strengthening the organised LGBTI sector to maximize our response to LGBTI needs through partnerships, collective use of resources, and drawing on the strenghts of participating organisations in contributing towards social justice and the reconstruction and development of the South African society.

Our Slogan:

Access To Rights. Access To Services.

Our values:

We strive to be progressive, transformative, democrative and inclusive, provide equal opportunities, heterogeneous, diversity aware, non-racist, non-sexist, ant-patriachy, and empowering.

Gender DynamiX is proud to be part of this network, and part of the managing committee. The main reasons for joining a network of LGBTI organisations are to create trans-awareness within South African LGBTI organisations.
