New Format For TG Support Group and T-Junction PDF Print E-mail

Being able to connect with people with whom one totally identifies is an important aspect of growth, especially if you are not yet out, or if you are still questioning, or for whatever reason. Providing that safe space where you can just be yourself and socialise with others like yourself, is what T-Junction is all about.

T-Junction takes place every month just after the support group meeting. The Transgender Support Group takes place on one Saturday a month at Triangle Project, Waverley Park, Observatory, from 2pm to 4pm and directly afterwards is T-Junction at Café Ganesh not far from Triangle Project in Trill Road.

It seems as if the new time slots work well for everyone since the last two support group sessions and T-Junctions were very well attended. Everyone connected well with each other and the conversation flowed freely. Café Ganesh supplied snack platters which were delicious and after a pleasant afternoon, everyone agreed that the new format suited them better than previously.

The next TG Support Group and T-Junction will be on 7 May 2011.
